pvhmc foundation

Mission:

PVHMC Foundation was founded in 1979 by the Hospital Board of Directors. The Foundation Board of Directors is made up of volunteers from the community. The purpose of the Foundation is to encourage and receive charitable gifts to be used for the support of the Hospital's building and equipment fund.

Current Funding Projects:
After completion of the $8.6 million capital campaign for the expansion and new equipment for the Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory last May, the Foundation is now seeking funding for future building projects including the expansion of the emergency department. Senate Bill 1953 mandates all hospitals in the State of California to retrofit and/or rebuild facilities to meet the new earthquake building codes.

Honor/Memorial Gifts:
A wonderful way to honor or remember a loved one can be made by a gift to PVHMC Foundation. The gift is acknowledged to the donor for tax purposes and a letter sent to the honoree (or family of the deceased). The amount of the gift is not disclosed.

Location Of Foundation Office And Staff Members:
The Foundation Office is located in the one-story Administration building on the PVHMC campus. Staff includes: Glenda Ferguson, Director of Development; Susan McGrath, Development Assistant; and Kristie Castro, Administrative ASsistant.
