We have established a comprehensive multidisciplinary program to fight  colorectal cancer. Our program offers state-of-the-art-technology, support services and physician expertise. The team of primary care physicians, radiologist, gastroenterologists,  surgeons, medical oncologists, radiation oncologist, pathologists, research and a dedicated program coordinator come together to ensure that you receive the best possible care. This team approach in fighting Colorectal Cancer will lead to a thorough and timely evaluation, treatment planning and follow-up

 

How We Treat Colorectal Cancer

 

Colorectal Cancer Treatment depends on the size and location of the tumor, whether the cancer has spread, and the person’s overall health condition. We can offer you access to surgery, clinical trials, and cutting edge anti-cancer drugs that earned our Cancer Program the maximum accreditation from the American College of Surgeons, Commission on Cancer. Our Radiation Oncology Department offers the new Trilogy System that delivers Ultra-Precise Radiation with greater speed and accuracy, making it possible to safely deliver the maximum treatment while not damaging surrounding tissue.

 

In addition to outstanding treatment, you will be supported throughout this experience by one of our compassionate patient care coordinators. Deciding on which type of treatment is best for you can be confusing – the patient care coordinator is here, along with your physician to listen and answer questions to enable you to make an educated choice.

 

Our GI Cancer Program Coordinator

 

Patient care coordinator, Ivy Tuason, RN, MSN, FNP will be with you every step of the way.  Her role is to guide you through the experience of diagnosis, treatment and recovery from Colorectal Cancer.  She will work closely with all of your physicians to expedite and ensure you the best treatment possible.
