Breast
Prosthesis Display
This display, sponsored by the American Cancer Society, is for women seeking
information on breast prostheses, bras, lingerie and swimsuits. There
is a display of different items available.
Second Monday of each month Anytime
from Noon - 2:00 pm in the Community Room.
Breast Cancer Support Group
Martha Osborne, RN, OCN, Breast Health Program Nurse, leads this vital
group where members share concerns, support each other and address issues
related to breast cancer. Educational speakers present information related
to breast cancer at least once a month.
Second, Third & Fourth Monday 7:00 pm in the Community Room.
Young Women With Cancer
A sharing support group for all women
under 40 years old with cancer. Your special needs will be addressed.
First Monday of each month 7:00 pm in the Community Room.
Look
Good...Feel Better
In partnership with the American Cancer Society, the Cosmetic, Toiletry
and Fragrance Association and the National Cosmetology Association. This
program is offered free of charge and focuses on the personal appearance
of women who have experienced radiation or chemotherapy. Skin care and
makeup techniques are presented.
Second Monday of each month 10:00
am in the Community Room.
Wig Program
Wigs are available, free of charge, for women who have lost their hair
as a result of cancer therapy. Wigs are fitted in the privacy of the wig
salon at the Cancer Care Center.

Pomona Valley
Ostomy Association
The Pomona-Ontario Chapter of the United Ostomy Association is aware of
the physical and emotional adjustments after ostomy surgery and offers
mutual support, education and discussion for "ostomates." Family or support
people are welcome.
Fourth Monday of each month 7:00
pm in the Community Room.
Bereavement/Loss
Support Group
This group is for anyone who has suffered the loss of a loved one or who
is experiencing the grieving process. Family members and friends are welcome
to attend.

Leukemia/Lymphoma
Support Group
In conjunction with the Leukemia Society of America, offers support for
people with leukemia, Hodgkins Disease, lymphoma and multiple myeloma.
Share your unique concerns and feelings. Bring a brown bag lunch.
First Wednesday of the month Noon
in the Professional Library.
Prostate
Cancer Support Group
This is a monthly support group for men who have, and want to learn more
about prostate cancer. This group offers informational topics and allows
those attending to exchange ideas with others. Family and significant
others are invited to attend.
Third Tuesday of each month 7:00
pm in the Community Room.
Living
in the Here and Now
This is an emotional support group to assist cancer patients in coping
with their disease. Led by our Nurse Educator and an Oncology Medical
Social Worker.
Every Thursday 10:00 am in the Professional
Library.
Kidz Group
For kids 7-17 whose parent and/or loved one has cancer.
Dinner provided, Reservations Requested. Call (909) 865-9555 x0.
First Thurs of each month, 5:00 – 6:30 pm.
Mind/Body Connection
Each meeting will focus on the mind/body connection, with special emphasis on different topics each month.
Every Wednesday 10:00 am in the Community room.
Relaxation
and Imagery
Each session will review the basics of imagery and visualization along
with a specific area of concern. This group is led by a certified hypnotherapist.
Every Tuesday 10:00 am in the Community

Every Thursday 10:00 am in the Community Room.
Stretch and Yoga
For all fitness levels. You will become more flexible, gain strength and
improve circulation. Great for anyone wanting to better their fitness
level (and for anyone going through cancer treatment). Dress comfortably.

pm in the Community Room.
