The Family Health Center affiliated with Pomona Valley Hospital Medical Center is an outpatient medical office staffed by the physicians of the Hospital's Family Practice Residency Program.

Opening in 1997 the Family Health Center provides comprehensive medical care to infants, children, adolescents, adults and seniors. Services include short-term care for illnesses and injuries; ongoing care of long-term health problems such as high blood pressure, diabetes, arthritis and lipid disorders; immunizations; and complete maternity care for uncomplicated pregnancies.

At the core of the Family Health Center are the resident physicians of the Hospital's Family Medicine Residency Program. Residents learn the specialty of family practice in a private practice setting working alongside experienced family physiciansin a facility dedicated to the care of patients and their families. The residency program is affiliated with UCLA Medical School.

The Family Health Center also houses the practices of Premier Family Care Medical Associates, Inc., The residency's faculty practice group. These experienced physicians not only treat patients but they also serve as the primary faculty for the Family Medicine Residency Program. Working together the faculty and the residents, along with licensed nurses, medical assistants, x-ray technicians and other medical professionals, provide the community with a comprehensive medical office.

The Family Health Center accepts most types of insurance including Medi-Cal, Medicare, and those individuals with no insurance. Hours of operation are Monday through Friday from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM and Saturdays from 8:30 AM to 1:00 PM. For further information please contact us at:
